The guest's first question isn't 'where do I sleep', it's 'what do I do now?'
A guest who has just arrived doesn't want a complete guide: they want immediate orientation for the next few minutes.

When a guest steps into the place, the first thing they think is not "I want to read the guide". Not even "where do I sleep". They've already seen the photos, they know where the bed is. The real question is something else: "And now? Can I go out? What's open nearby? I'm hungry, where can I go without messing up?"
The mental moment of arrival
The guest is tired, has just put down the bags, has forty minutes before deciding what to do. They don't feel like scrolling through twenty pages of stay manual. They want two or three concrete answers for the slice of day in front of them. If they can't find them, they open Google Maps — and you've lost the chance to be their tip.
What 'orientation' means in practice
- One idea for the right moment: if they arrive at lunchtime, a good spot nearby; if it's evening, where to grab a drink without queuing.
- A realistic distance: walking, not driving when it isn't needed.
- A line in your voice, not a copied review: guests trust the people who actually live there.

Why the 'Good morning' logic works
In StayFast, the Good morning widget comes from exactly this idea: instead of showing the whole guide at once, it suggests something fitting for the moment — a tip of the day, an idea for the morning, a nearby activity. It doesn't replace the full guide: it makes it digestible for a guest who has just arrived and needs a first step, not a table of contents.
Practical example
Guest arrives at 4 PM. Instead of the classic "welcome, here's the rules" screen, the first thing they see is: "For a quick coffee just behind here, Marco's bar on via Garibaldi — closes at 7 PM." One line, one action, one piece of orientation. Everything else stays a click away, for when it'll really matter.
